Charles "The Financial Bull" Truhlar
From a young age, Charles understood the importance of performance. Standing on stages performing music since the age of 5 to a plethora of diverse audiences, his true passion lies in creating and expressing art through music. On any given day you’ll find him cooking and spending time with family, playing golf, or getting lost in whatever sounds are happening in the music studio. Recognizing the similarities between emotions created by music and markets has been key to his success in the financial industry.
Mr. Truhlar, 43, is an accomplished investment manager and financial planner with 23 years of experience in the insurance and financial industry. Mr. Truhlar is responsible for oversight of all investment management and operational functions for the general partner and manages the partnership’s strategy on a day-to-day basis.
Mr. Truhlar’s unique investment approach is based on a combination of his two decade history working with individuals and identifying patterns in human behaviors specific to finances and investing, and technical analysis to take advantage of those emotions within investments. Mr. Truhlar has been a personal financial planner and continues to own & operate his private client practice he founded in 2008.
Mr. Truhlar is the President, Founder, and Investment Advisor representative of Acrylic Financial, Inc., an SEC registered RIA founded in 2017. Mr Truhlar is the Chief Distribution Officer of Brokers Alliance, Inc., a national insurance marketing organization. Mr. Truhlar is the Chief Business Development Officer, Principal, and Registered Representative of Brooklight Place Securities, Inc., a Broker Dealer. Mr. Truhlar holds the series 6, 63, 7, 24, 52, 53, and 65 licenses. Mr. Truhlar holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation, the Certified Financial Planner designation, the Chartered Financial Consultant designation, and the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow designation. Mr. Truhlar is also the co-founder and partner in several software service companies in the technology space including ComplianceBrain, InstaBrain, & Pentaquark, LLC.
